Built plaintxt for private, anonymous E2EE messaging

I built plaintxt because not every conversation needs an account, a phone number, an email, a real name, or a permanent record.

plaintxt is private, anonymous E2EE messaging with temporary browser-based identities and messages that expire by design.

What it does:

- no account required

PlainTXT - Private encrypted messages, burn after reading, ephemeral

plaintxt is a no-account, end-to-end encrypted messaging app for temporary conversations. Create a browser-local identity, send encrypted messages, and walk away. No email, no phone number, no password, no tracking, and no ads. Messages are encrypted in your browser before they leave your device. The server stores ciphertext only. Unread messages expire automatically, and read messages burn shortly after being opened. Built for conversations that do not need to live forever.
