PixyCAD - Fast & precise 3D CAD built natively for iPad and Mac
by•
PixyCAD is a native 3D CAD app for Mac and iPad, built for makers, designers and 3D-printing enthusiasts who want professional solid modelling without traditional CAD complexity.
It combines an approachable modelling workflow with a professional geometry foundation powered by Parasolid.
We are launching on Product Hunt to get feedback from people who care about CAD, 3D printing and better creative tools on Apple platforms.

Parasolid under the hood is a serious flex for something that feels this approachable on iPad. Played with it for a few minutes and the direct manipulation is genuinely fun.
Looks cool,
Downloaded it, started drawing and couldn't use the transform tools to move my drawing paths.... why... Besides that, functionality is straightforward but segmented. When I close a surface I cant directly extrude it, I have to go to the 3d menu to be allowed that, why? So these choices towards rigid steps are typical cad but meaningless for casual users. I don't get it, why again? Many functions need the user to go to a dropdown menu to select them. No intuitive UX ideas, only a spare environment. Not sure who this is for since it's not intuitive neither complex.
It would be great to add AI that lets you describe what you want in plain language and then generates a 3D model that's ready for printing. Is something like that on your roadmap? I know there are already AI tools for 3D generation, but not specifically for 3D printing.
