Pixelproof is a free browser-based preflight check for Cricut and Silhouette PNGs. It reveals detached pieces, faint residue, and removable flat backgrounds before you import the file. Review every proposed change, preserve intentional glows or shadows, and download a same-size transparent PNG. Processing stays on your device; only anonymous event counters and two-choice feedback are recorded.

Hi Product Hunt — I built Pixelproof after seeing how a transparent PNG that looks clean can still contain faint or detached pixels a cutter may trace. Pixelproof checks the file locally in your browser, highlights detached areas, and lets you decide what stays before downloading a same-size transparent PNG. Connected glows and shadows are preserved; detached pieces are never deleted automatically. This is an independent open beta and isn’t affiliated with Cricut or Silhouette. I’m looking for honest feedback on one thing: did the result explain itself clearly? Please try it and tell me what felt confusing.
