This feedback made me stop and rethink the flow
by•
I got feedback from a PingPrompt user that stuck with me.
He said PingPrompt helps make prompts stronger, richer and more focused.
But the workflow still feels off because it sits outside the AI tools he already uses every day.
And he’s right.
So I’m working on this now.
The first step is a ChatGPT connector, but the direction is broader: better integration with the AI tools people already use, like ChatGPT/ Claude and CLI Agents.
The goal is to let user create, improve, edit, save and version prompts directly inside the session.
No tab switching. No copying things back and forth. No losing the version that actually worked.
Just ask, and it done.
Does this make sense for how you use prompts today?

The amount of prompt copying pasting renaming and accidentally overwriting that happens today is surprisingly high. Keeping it all inside the session sounds much cleaner.

the rethink moments are the only ones that actually move the product. anyone can ship features. founders who can hear a hard piece of feedback and let it reshape the flow are the ones whose products keep getting better month over month.

@thenameisarian I completely agree.
Especially for a prompt management/ops product that is changing ever more rapidly with the shifts in the AI market.
