Congratulations on the launch! We are just hiring a dozen new developers and this tool may come in handy.

I have been using Phase for a few months now and I am impressed with its functionality and ease of use. As a member of a fast-moving engineering team, I appreciate how Phase allows us to securely manage and deploy our application secrets from development to production. The open source platform is extremely reliable and efficient, making it a breeze to securely handle sensitive information without any hassle. The streamlined workflow has definitely improved our team's productivity and allowed us to focus on creating high-quality products. I highly recommend Phase to any engineering team looking for a secure and efficient platform to manage application secrets. It has definitely made a positive impact on our workflow and I can't imagine going back to our old methods. Five stars!

Open source secrets manager sounds cool but how does it stack up against established tools like HashiCorp Vault or AWS Secrets Manager, also, security is key here, what's the plan to ensure robustness, any plans to integrate with less mainstream CI/CD pipelines?

Hey, I get the need for securing and deploying app secrets, but is open source really the best way to go, isn’t it risky? maybe adding more layers of encryption could help, thoughts?

As a dev, I'm skeptical about using open source for managing secrets considering security risks, how do you plan to keep users' data safe and handle potential breaches?

Open source is great and all but what about the security risks that come with it, how can I be sure my app secrets are really safe, plus it sounds like a fine tool but there are already so many similar ones, does the market really need another one, hope this adds some real value

Maybe focusing on open source is a bit risky, you should've thought about potential security flaws, also it's cool that it's for fast-moving teams but I wonder if slower teams will find it as useful, needs more work for sure

Seems like another open source tool trying to solve secrets management, but there are already big players in this space, how does this app stand out, what makes it different or better for fast-moving teams, also wondering about the security protocols, are they robust enough for enterprise applications Would be interesting to see if it can integrate smoothly with existing workflows, especially considering the varying needs of different teams, keep pushing innovation but clarity around these questions would help a lot

I was looking around and stumbled upon this, giving open source secrets management a try is cool and all, but don’t you think it might create more security loopholes, just worried it’s going to be more hassle for the engineering teams than it's worth 🤔

As someone who lives in the code world 24/7, gotta say this new open source tool seems more like a security hazard waiting to happen, it’s open source and all, but do we really want our app secrets floating around even if it’s just in dev stages, also with so many tools in hand already, is this really solving a problem or just adding one more thing to manage, I get the idea and all but maybe focus on better integrations instead of just another standalone tool
