A very innovative, powerful, and promising platform as the upcoming future (2025) will definitely take that next level. After a quick first hands-on PerformLive, I strongly suggest advanced branding features: custom theme colors, Google fonts, and a custom logo. Also, a split revenue feature when producing and performing with a co-host will be such a game-changing in this competitive live streaming niche. Last but not least, there is no clue about your pricing model fees, instead of the 3 months commission free.
"Online shopping is old news" I agree with that! And congrats about "PerformLive" brand name. Cheers!
@rudy_arconte thanks a lot for your thoughtful comments! really appreciated and really insightful. Thanks for hands on experience with the product! Would love to connect and chat more!

@oksana_sokolovsky My pleasure! So, what are the fees in your pricing model?
@rudy_arconte our pricing model is pretty simple.
We take 7.5% commission on performer earnings.
All transactions - same 7.5% commission, except gifts and donations which always go to performers at 100%, 0 commission.
We only get paid, when performers make money. So we succeed together!
And for the first 3 months, we waive commission all together! If you become an affiliate and bring performers to our platform, we pay 3% commission on earnings for the affiliate performers.

@oksana_sokolovsky Great! Excellent pricing model. Thanks for all the infos.
@rudy_arconte@oksana_sokolovsky Well said. I like the co-host split idea, as a producer / videographer, I like that idea even though I may not be on camera or as the interviewer. I am very interested in that, as if I work with a influencer, some would "borrow" my expertise after training them after 6 months the tech landscape. Can you help fix that problem in the future?
Hey Hunters ✨
I'm Oksana, co-founder of Performlive. Together with my co-founder, Rohit, we are on a mission to change how wellness businesses and creators monetize their passion and products via Live Streaming Commerce.
Online shopping is old news. Increasingly, customers aren’t satisfied with the flat experience of scrolling through product descriptions to shop. Live commerce is trending—blending the convenience of online shopping with the engaging, in-the-moment experience of live streams.
However, the market is still fragmented. An average social media user has 8.4 accounts, which means that streamers and customers alike have to master multiple platforms. What’s more, individual platforms may only support monetization of product sales or skilled services, but not both—if they even support commerce at all.
So we decided to to change that.
We are super excited to announce the launch of PerformLive, a platform for individuals, businesses and brands to monetize their talent and products via interactive live stream. We bring all the tools that creators and sellers need into one, easy-to-use interface:
- Our Simulcast feature broadcasts live streams across multiple social media platforms
- Multiple monetization options support both product sales (like e-stores) and skilled streamers (like health & wellness coaches)
- Augmented reality technology allows customers to try products virtually
- Get on stage & interactivity features encourage community building and a loyal audience
PerformLive combines live interaction, augmented reality, community, social selling, and e-commerce all in one place.
PerformLive offers sellers and creators a robust suite of e-commerce and streaming tools:
- Live interactive streams, either free or paid
- Broadcast to all social media channels during Live Stream
- Rich paywall with five options for monetizing skills and products
- Commercial support, including product inventory and shipping labels
- Analytics dashboard
- AI-powered chat analytics—a patent-ready technology
PerformLive also offers two final, essential advantages: a streamlined, easy-to-use interface, and a competitive fee structure that helps users maximize their earnings.
Performlive is free to join and to livestream. We only earn when you earn and for the first 3 month, we waive commission all together.
We're in open Beta now and you can simply sign up and Go Live.
Join our community and monetize your passion.
Go Live, Sell, Earn and turn your fanbase into loyal and happy paying customers.
Together we can change how social live experience can help creators and businesses monetize their talents, products and passion.
Thanks for checking us out! We are waiting for your comments and feedback👇
Dear community, thank you for supporting Performlive! We would love to hear your thoughts on our product!

I'm confused, how is this different from Twitch? Edit: Or youtube livestreaming for the matter. Like, are you just trying to compete with those services? That is fair enough, but if that is the case, it's going to be hard to drag people out of those ecosystems.
@horror_jervil thanks for your question. Few important differences to note - (1) we focus on wellness skills and products, twitch is mostly gaming, music, e-sports and few other categories (2) our paywall supports 5 business use cases - paid live stream, paid on stage, paid digital product, paid physical product (with shipping support) and donations/gifts. Our performers earn real cash. Schedule live yoga session, get paid, sell merchandise, receive gifts, all in one live stream. We offer auction and group sale features in live stream. These are just few differences, there are more....Summary - Performlive is live commerce platform. Twitch is live streaming social platform.

@oksana_sokolovsky Full disclosure, I'm a former Twitch employee, which is my reasoning for asking.
Save for physical rewards, twitch and even youtube do what you have said. I can't help but feel like this is going to make you struggle to stand out, especially since the "Twitch is gamers" thing is kinda no longer the case, and thinking that is going to make you not take a real competitor seriously, when they have been expanding for years. Keep in mind, Twitch started as Justin.tv, and is going back to that general vibe, with just a slighter gamer aesthetic.
Twitch aside, theres lots of large and small streaming services out there, and to put another one on the table just feels like you need to do something drastically different to stand out from the pack. If I do yoga lessons, wouldn't I be more interested it utilizing youtube's infrastructure and integrations for streams to reach my wider audience potential?
I do wish you luck, and hope you have considered the tangible ways you can stand out from these massive giants, because I've seen streaming services come and go time and time again.
@horror_jervil Thanks for your thoughtful note. I am not aware of the e-commerce aspect of twitch and youtube, but will be sure to double check. Yes, we are aware of the giants, they will always be there. We are also aware of the fact that 95% of youtube users, make less than 12K per year, if that. Only 5% monetize their dreams. Our platform takes that into account and brings a very different business model together, not just streaming aspect, allowing everyone to monetize their potential, even if they only have 50 follower. Your points are valid though and really appreciated. Given you spent time at Twitch, you must know a lot more! and we value your perspective. We would love to learn more from you, please connect with us if and when you want via hello@performlive.com
@oksana_sokolovsky@horror_jervil . At first glance what you say makes sense, but I think you are forgetting the growth and market share being taken from REtail stores that are closing. It has to go somewhere, and to think 3 or 4 "Big malls" will have all the business is pretty narrow thought in my opinion. The riches in niches, and they have nichified with the deep service offering and features.
I'm personally just not convinced the world really needs another livestreaming platform at the moment, I think trying to brand as a streaming platform is effectively suicide in this market, and if you want to focus on monetization, you should find a way to help creators monetize their existing platforms.
@horror_jervil thank you for your thoughts and feedback. Its very useful.

I got an email with the following reply from Oksana, which I assume to be deleted
"@horror_jervil Find it interesting that being new member of the ProductHunt community, you took time to mark our platform as do not recommend based on your biased opinion or view of big platforms vs start ups that are building new. Way to go on building community and relationships"
Yes, I am guilty of being new to producthunt, and also did not realize that my dislike of this particular idea would also be posted as a comment. But being new does not invalidate me from having opinions based on my experiences. This is a topic I am strongly opinionated on.
This type of snarky reply is not a good look. I am all for people entering a market if they actually have something to offer, and it is my personal belief that you are not doing enough to stand out. I've seen countless websites coming and going saying things like "We do the same thing as justin.tv/twitch, just better!" and they just don't last. It's really difficult to get people to switch platforms.
If you think I am wrong, just prove me wrong, it is that simple.
