Peekii - Peek your study, Peek others' study

by
People brag about studying 13 hours, but how much of that was actual focus? Dozing off, checking your phone, or leaving your seat doesn't count. So I built peekii — an app that automatically pauses your timer when you lose focus, giving you an accurate picture of your real study time. It also helps you run a proper Pomodoro session based on your actual concentration span. You'll probably be surprised how short it really is. Try it at https://peekii.app

Do you actually believe people who say they studied for 12 hours straight? Some people post about their study hours like it's something to brag about — claiming they studied for 13 hours. But did they really focus for all 13 hours? I don't think so. Some people say they use the Pomodoro technique to study in focused intervals. But how do you even know what your actual focus span is? If you just keep going until you feel like your concentration has broken — was everything up to that point truly focused time? I don't think that holds up either. So I built a service that measures how much people actually study. Let's be honest — there are so many things that break your focus while studying: dozing off, checking your phone, leaving your seat, getting into conversations, and more. None of that time counts as genuine focus. That's why the app I built, peekii, automatically pauses the timer whenever you check your phone, nod off, or leave your seat. And that's not all. It tracks your real focus time and helps you run a more accurate Pomodoro session based on your actual concentration capacity. Give it a try — you might be surprised to find that your genuine focus window is shorter than you think. My goal with this service is to foster healthy competition based on real study time, and to help people study for only as long as they can truly concentrate. I've personally spent way too many hours just sitting there while barely focusing at all.
