Hi Product Hunt! I built PDFtoGrid because every PDF-to-Excel tool I tried wanted me to upload bank statements and invoices to someone else's server. PDFtoGrid does the extraction in your browser instead, so the file never leaves your computer. Drop in a text-based PDF, check the editable preview, adjust the column spacing if two columns merge, and download XLSX or CSV. You can pick a page range and combine pages into one table. Scanned PDFs need OCR first, since they have no text to read. It's free, with no signup, page limit or watermark. I'd love to hear which PDFs it gets wrong so I can improve it.
