Paste 7 - Intelligent clipboard that knows what you're about to paste

Intelligent Clipboard is new in Paste, the productivity app that remembers everything you copy. Paste now suggests which of your copied items you'll most likely paste next, based on what you're working on. Powered by Apple Intelligence, privately on your Mac.

Hey there,

Paste helps people keep, search, and organize everything they copy across Mac, iPhone, and iPad. Today we're launching Intelligent Clipboard - Paste can now suggest which of your copied items you'll most likely paste next, based on what you're working on, right on your Mac.

Everything you copy has a moment when it's needed again. Finding the right item at that moment was still your job. Now, when you switch to Suggestions, Paste looks at what you're working on and brings the likely items forward. You can go back to your full clipboard history anytime.A few things we cared about:It runs on your Mac. Intelligent

Clipboard is powered by Apple Intelligence, and everything stays on your Mac. It suggests, it doesn't decide. You still choose what to paste. It's available on macOS 26 and later with Apple Intelligence enabled.

Big thanks to for hunting Paste again ❤️

We'd love to hear what Paste got right for you first, and what you'd want it to understand next. Thanks for checking it out!

Great idea!

Is there a way to activate it via a keyboard shortcut, or is it mouse only?

Everything on the mac instead of sending copied text to the cloud is also a plus for privacy.

One question: does it slow down the mac or use more battery when hundreds of copied items are saved?

there are no known cases yet. It uses Apple built-in models, which are optimized for the device hardware

Clipboard history is already a huge time saver but intelligent could make it feel much more natural.

This could be especially useful switching multiple projects. Does it learn individual workflows over time?

Interesting approach to making clipboard management proactive instead of reactive. How accurate are the suggestion in everyday use?

The real value here might be reducing tiny interruptions throughout the day. Those little copy and paste moments add up.

That's a really awesome idea - I'll have to give it a try.

Good luck with the launch today!

 thank you!

Paste MCP turns clipboard history into AI context via a local MCP server—what are the highest-leverage tasks people should try first (e.g., drafting updates from copied notes, organizing research into pinboards), and how do you handle permissioning/redaction so teams feel safe using it with sensitive content?

Congrats on the fresh update!

Daily user of Paste. Super excited to use the new AI features.
