Hey PH! 👋 I'm Faria founder of Orbbit!

It’s not humanly possible to stay across every new launch, competitor, feature change, and pricing move in your market.
New competitors are showing up every day. Building is faster than ever. Markets shift quickly.
And teams still end up doing competitor research manually, which means things get missed and deals get lost.
That’s why I built Orbbit.

Orbbit is a competitor research platform made for product marketers, product managers, and designers.

  • It tracks competitors for you

  • Sends email updates when something changes

  • Selps you stay on top of pricing, positioning, hiring, funding, new players in your space, without spending hours digging through websites every week.

Don’t lose deals because a competitor changed something and your team found out too late.

Try it for free! Would love your feedback 🫶

@fariaanzum Congrats on the launch. Quick question: what's one unexpected change you've spotted for users that turned into a big win?

Faria Anzum

@swati_paliwal

Thank you so much Swati! One big unexpected win has been catching messaging and positioning changes early. A few users told me they only usually notice these shifts much later, often during sales calls or after losing momentum. Seeing those changes early gave them a much clearer view of where competitors were moving and what to respond to first.

Hi Faria! Congratulations on the launch and the product. This looks brilliant and genuinely useful. Can I ask, are users able to input the specific competitors you want it to notify you about? For example, I’d love to know as new competitors enter the market, but I’d also like to be given more specific updates on only my top 3 competitors - is that possible?
Faria Anzum

@leah_dyke Thank you so much Leah!
Yes, you can track specific competitors you care about, so if you only want updates on your top 3, you can do that! We are also building Orbbit to help surface new competitors entering the space, so it is both focused tracking for the names you already know and discovery for the ones you do not.

Please let me know if you have any feedback! We will add any feature you want! 🙌

@ugo_builds Hey, thank you so much, I really appreciate that 🙌

Just checked out Mokkit as well, congrats on your launch 🚀

This hits a real pain point. You can spend weeks manually tracking competitors in any space — checking their App Store listings, pricing changes, new features, Reddit activity — all across different tabs and notes. It worked but it doesn't scale.

Does it track App Store metadata changes too, like when a competitor updates their description, screenshots, or pricing? That's where the most interesting signals are in the mobile app world.

Faria Anzum

@krisba95 Thank you Christian!
Really appreciate that. Right now Orbbit is strongest on tracking competitor changes across the web, including product, pricing, hiring, and messaging updates.

App Store metadata tracking like description, screenshots, and pricing is a very interesting area, especially for mobile teams, and it is absolutely the kind of signal we want to support in future!

I have to say, this is an amazing platform. I didn’t expect to receive such useful and actionable insights so quickly.

I’m currently building my own SaaS, and being able to evaluate my idea against competitors and get structured, high-quality analysis from just a prompt is incredibly valuable. This kind of speed and clarity can really change how founders validate ideas.

Huge congratulations on the launch 👏🚀

One question: how does your platform handle information about private companies? In my tests, most of the companies analyzed were large, publicly known ones (e.g., companies like Spotify or Coursera). I’m curious how well it performs when analyzing smaller or less transparent competitors.

Faria Anzum

@matheusdsantosr_dev

Thank you so much Matheus!

Really appreciate that. For private or smaller companies, Orbbit depends on what is publicly available, so results can vary if there is very little information online.

That said, improving coverage for less visible competitors (including Enterprise pricing if not available) is something we will look into soon!

Hey Faria! Loved the concept. I'll start monitoring competitors to take the most of them. I'm sure it's gonna help me a lot. Wish you all the best

Faria Anzum

@german_merlo1 Thank you so much Merlo! Please let me know if you have any feedback!
We will add any feature you want! 🙌

Competitor research is one of those tasks everyone knows matters, but it’s incredibly easy to do inconsistently until something important slips by. 🙂 How you think about noise vs. signal over time? If a team tracks several competitors, how do you make sure the alerts stay actionable instead of becoming just another inbox stream?
Faria Anzum

@tereza_hurtova Thanks Tereza!
My view is that the bar is not more alerts, it is better filtering. Teams should only get updates when something actually matters to them, with clear before-and-after context so they can quickly see what changed and decide whether to act. Also, it needs to be contextual to how the team actually works/embedding in their workflows.
