Hey Product Hunt 👋

We’re excited to share OpenSigner — a self-hostable, open-source, non-custodial key management layer for modern apps.

With OpenSigner, developers can create and manage wallets for their users (starting with Ethereum & Solana support, more chains coming) without ever taking custody of their keys. That means you can ship wallets inside:

  • fintech & banking apps

  • consumer products & platforms

  • games, agents, and new crypto-native experiences

…without becoming a custodian.

Why it matters:

  • Non-custodial by design – Users control their keys; you avoid heavy custodial licensing and compliance burdens.

  • Flexible & self-hostable – Start in the cloud, move pieces on-prem as you scale or your legal team requires it. No vendor lock-in.

  • Built for builders – Plug into your existing auth stack, keep full control over infra, and stay standards-aligned.

We’d love your feedback, questions, and brutal technical reviews in the comments 💚

Love this. Non-custodial without infra headaches is exactly what’s needed. A big win for developers shipping real products.
Curious: how are you handling recovery/key rotation flows today?

Congrats on launching OpenSigner!

@chilarai It uses Shamir Secret Sharing in the background and would require a majority of shard to recover the key. Full explanation here: https://www.opensigner.dev/actions/login

@joalavedra Great. Would love to try the product.
Also, I would love to stay connected with you guys and explore synergies, if possible

Already a fan of Openfort, looking forward to testing this out. Looks like it helps solve some of the user friction with other wallets.

@iam_laurad Thanks Laura!
