Open-source Agent OS built in Rust. 7 autonomous Hands that work for you on schedules. 16 security systems. 53 tools. 40 channels. 27 LLM providers. WASM sandbox, Merkle audit trail, taint tracking. Single binary.
hey everyone, im jaber, i built openfang because every agent framework i tried was basically a chatbot wrapper. you type something, it responds, you type again. thats not autonomy thats a conversation.
i wanted agents that wake up on a schedule, do the work, and report back without me sitting there. so i built Openfang!
@jaber23 Not very convincing pitch. Could you also please elaborate a little? What do you use it for?

@jaber23 This seems super interesting, I am somewhat new to outsourcing stuff to agents so I haven't yet hit the wrapper frustration, but I am still going to give this a shot. Cool idea, congrats on the launch!
We really need free intelligent llm api access. The costs with these apis particularly when running agential tasks makes the tools usage restricted to a few people. However, I'll be trying out openfang and comparing it with openclaw.

Amazing one Jaber, congrats, do you consider making other products use yours to build agents in their workflow?

This is so cool. Which models can the agents use?

7 autonomous Hands running on schedules with a single binary is a clean architecture choice. The Merkle audit trail caught my eye how do you handle conflict resolution when two Hands modify the same resource concurrently?
Really interesting architecture. Scheduled autonomous agents that wake up and do the work without you sitting there is the direction everything should be heading. The Merkle audit trail is a smart touch for trust and accountability. Are you planning to make the P2P networking layer distributed down the road?

hey, congrats on launch. I noticed that you mentioned P2P networking in your website, do you plan to make it distributed in the future?
