I'm very happy with this new model, and I've already started using it in my language learning platform Elon.io It appears to be doing very well at generating language courses, while my costs are greatly reduced.

Making AI more affordable and functional is a sign of AI being adopted by various industries. Excited to witness the future!

Let's see how it compares to Deepseek R1!

It keeps generating incomplete text to answer simple questions after overthinking for about 10 seconds. And its "thought process" is just a string of buzzwords—"I'm thinking, now I'm gathering, I speculate that, I'm emphasizing, I suspect that". Honestly, R1 (which is basically free) puts this to shame. C'mon OpenAI get this right I'm rooting for you guys
