What makes you come back to a focus timer?

OneLess Pomodoro is launching tomorrow, and before the launch I wanted to ask one simple question.

There are already many Pomodoro and focus timers, but I ve noticed that starting a timer once is very different from actually coming back to use it regularly.

While building OneLess, I focused on a few things I personally wanted:

  • tracking actual focus time instead of completed session counts

  • flexible focus and break lengths

  • daily and weekly progress reports

  • presets for different routines

  • visual scenes and ambient sounds to make focusing feel less mechanical

But I m curious about what matters to other people.

What makes you return to the same focus timer regularly?

Is it simplicity, reports, streaks, customization, sound, visual atmosphere, goals or something else?

I d love to hear what actually matters in real use.

OneLess Pomodoro - Track actual focus time, not completed sessions

OneLess Pomodoro is a flexible focus timer built around actual time, not completed sessions. Stop early and the minutes you focused still count. Customize focus, break, and long-break times, save presets, set daily and weekly time goals, and review reports based on real focus time. No account or payment is required to start.
