OnCallClerk 2.0: Sounds Human - Launch human-like AI phone agents in minutes

by
Most AI phone agents still sound robotic. OnCallClerk doesn’t. We rebuilt the voice engine for sub-second latency, added built-in phone numbers, and launched a new SDK to build and customize AI phone agents. No messy stack. No glue code. Launch in minutes, handle calls 24/7, and capture leads instantly. Call it yourself in seconds, no signup required.

Hey everyone, maker of OnCallClerk here 👋 This is our second launch, and to be perfectly honest, we rebuilt a LOT of it. When I first started, the goal was simple: build an AI receptionist that could actually handle real calls. But the reality was messy and it was into a very saturated market. To get anything working, you had to stitch together telephony, STT, TTS, LLMs… and even then, it still sounded robotic and laggy. I see the same voice agent spin ups struggling with the same broken Vapi & n8n approach. So we went back and rebuilt the core. This version focuses on: Much lower latency (sub-second responses) More natural, human-like conversations Built-in phone numbers (no infra setup) A new SDK so you can actually build your own agents on top The goal is simple now: you should be able to spin up a working AI phone agent in minutes, or build something custom without dealing with the whole stack. Would genuinely love feedback, especially on the voice quality and latency. We have free plans if you want to see what its like to build an agent. You can also actually just call it yourself here: https://oncallclerk.com (no signup required) Happy to answer anything / go deep on how it works.
