Hello, Product Hunt community! We're thrilled to introduce OFFLIGHT. There's so much to share, so I'll divide this into two parts: 1. The OFFLIGHT we're launching today, and 2. The future path we envision for OFFLIGHT. 🚀 1.The OFFLIGHT we're launching today: OFFLIGHT is a service that seamlessly integrates To-Do lists, Calendar, Email, and Time Tracking into a single, fluid experience. We've also created a Focus mode inspired by music player UX, allowing users to Play/Pause tasks—an experience we believe is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. You can check our interactive demo even without sign up in the following link :) https://app.offlight.work/demo Although there’s still room for improvement since we only started serious development this February, we've made incredibly rapid progress. We're committed to continually improving the product at a fast pace, focusing intently on user feedback. https://youtu.be/jdPqqLmyfeU Now, let's discuss OFFLIGHT's long-term vision: a) A Daily Navigation app🧭, not just a Daily Planning app: We've used numerous daily planning apps and conducted many user interviews. A common frustration is that morning plans often crumble when unexpected tasks arise or time estimates prove inaccurate. One user compared this to being a beaver constantly rebuilding a collapsing dam. Think about using a car's navigation system. If you miss a turn, it doesn't stubbornly stick to the original route. Instead, it recognizes your action, considers the current situation, immediately formulates a new plan, and tells you "what to do next." In the same way, what we truly need isn't just a planning app but a Daily Navigation app that flexibly recognizes our state, modifies plans, and guides us. This is why we've placed time tracking at the core of OFFLIGHT. b) A Decentralized Collaboration Tool 🕸️ Most existing collaboration tools are company-centric because companies are typically the buyers. Imagine if individual contributors could use personal productivity tools and send/receive tasks as easily as sending an email. When teamwork is needed, they could create shared task lists for specific goals and archive them upon completion. We envision a decentralized collaboration tool where users connect like nodes and links based on agendas, rather than relying on a heavy central system. This would allow for seamless task management and collaboration, centered around individual productivity and flexibility. This is the future we're working towards with OFFLIGHT. We'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback!

@francescod_ales .......!!!!!!!!! I have never dreamed of getting your reply here. I am truly honored. (And totally freaking out at the same time, thinking about bugs, and left over backlogs are floating in my mind LoL) We are definitely not perfect but we only finished building our team this May. We may not be best now, but we will be the one of the fastest to pick up the pace. Again we are so thrilled to see your comment. :)

Daniel Hong
@markus_palm Markus, it has been only a pleasure using your product! (I have already sent a mail before, but would it be possible to get some help with CSP, I really want to use your cool widget but there are some blockings)
Jules Im
@markus_palm Wow, it’s Markus! Featurebase is amazing! Thanks to Featurebase, we’ve been able to develop quickly while maintaining great communication with our users. Appreciate it a lot💪

@daniel_hong Hey, sorry about that! We're still only a three-man team (currently hiring our first engineer 😅), so support can get a bit hectic. I pumped it up in priority for our team, since we need to fix this anyways.
Daniel Hong
@markus_palm Dear....Lord.... Feature base is 3 man team? I mean.... I worked like a at least 15 man team product. You guys are truly monsters. Always thanks for great product. I will shout out for you in S.korean network that I have one more time.

💡 Bright idea
@daniel_hong Looks amazing, I like the smooth onboarding process. Would love to see an integration for Trello, to pull in tasks from shared project boards. Congrats on the launch 🚀
Jules Im
@crebuh I really appreciate your interest in OFFLIGHT🔥 Trello is a Good Idea! We’ll definitely work hard to make it happen!
Daniel Hong
@crebuh Thank you so much for signing in and checking our onboarding. We only built it in 1 week so we were not sure if we would make it in time. We already have zapier integraion so low level integration with trello might work. But we will consider native integration in to future. Thinking about more detail, Creating automation rule for mapping Trello tasks in to specific List would be nice too.

Congrats on the launch! I've been a huge fan of OFFLIGHT and it's great to get to support its launch on PH! 🚀
Daniel Hong
@jaythesong It is so nice to see you here Jay. Thank you for being a friendly user of our service. Hope you have a great day!
René N
Love the fact about gathering everything in one place! That is probably the biggest reason for me not getting everything done, having several places of interest i need to check every day. Congratulations on the launch 🚀
Daniel Hong
@rene_nielsen_dk Thank you, It is about 1) Aggregating 2) Sorting 3) Planning and 4) Executing. If there is no aggregating you will have to walk around and check for other tools - ending up doing what you see in front of you instead of doing important thing.
Jules Im
@rene_nielsen_dk The Problem you have, Same here. HaHa😂 I really hope OFFLIGHT helps you get things done efficiently! Thanks so much :D
René N
@daniel_hong Exactly, and we don't wanna waste time on non important things

Hello, OFFLIGHT team! Congratulations on today’s launch! Your service, integrating to-do lists, calendars, emails, and time tracking, sounds very promising. The Focus Mode feature inspired by music player UX is impressive. The ability to play and pause tasks will definitely enhance user concentration. I also appreciate the vision of transitioning to a Daily Navigation app. Flexibility to adjust plans based on unexpected situations aligns well with user needs. Lastly, your goal of creating a decentralized collaboration tool is exciting. It allows for better teamwork while focusing on individual productivity. I look forward to seeing how OFFLIGHT evolves! Best of luck! 🌟
Daniel Hong
@contenjoo Joo, thanks for reading and sharing your thought about our long term goal. We will make this into something that really works :)
Jules Im
@contenjoo Thank you for resonating with our vision! We’ll keep evolving—please stay tuned!🙌

Wow, @daniel_hong, OFFLIGHT sounds like a game-changer for task management! Love the idea of a Daily Navigation app—flexibility is key when life throws curveballs. Also, the focus mode inspired by music UX is such a cool touch. Can't wait to see where you take it next! Keep the updates coming!
Daniel Hong
@blankwebdev Thank you so much for the reply. Especially our focus mode is something that we really worked hard to make it beautiful. (Still it need some more summary though) We will keep the product moving forward
Daniel Zaitzow
@daniel_hong Really interesting launch - could this be used to monitor remote teams on the tracking front or is it primarily a tool for personal development / improvement?
Daniel Hong
@dzaitzow The later. I once thought about that too but no. Because there is already many tools out there. On top of that, We wanted to make something that people can enjoy. :)
Daniel Zaitzow
@daniel_hong That makes total sense!
