What are you doing to manage WebSockets in production?
by•
Hi everyone, I am @eagostini, the founder of Notta Socket.
I built this because I kept running into the same two options: pay more than I wanted to for managed WebSocket services, or roll my own and spend time maintaining infrastructure instead of product.
Notta Socket is my attempt at a third option: fully managed, drop-in compatible with Pusher and Laravel Reverb, and fairly priced on capacity so you know your bill before it arrives.
I'd love to hear how you are currently handling real-time features. Do you prefer self-hosting or managed services, and what has been your biggest headache with either?
