Hi! Pretty much my entire life is on Notion, which is probably true for a lot of people here, and the more I can offload from other apps / notes and into Notion, the more organized and productive I feel. I work a lot in social media, and none of the scheduling apps I've used so far felt 'integrated' enough in my existing workflow. It felt like a chore having to open their dedicated app / interface, upload everything there, and have it so disconnected from the rest of my work. So... I built https://notionscheduler.app/ 🎉 NotionScheduler is a bridge between your Notion workspace and social media platforms you'd like to publish content to (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok). The idea is that you can have one central location for all of your work and content, and have it automatically posted to social media when you've planned it. It creates a database for you, that you can then populate with your content, display in calendar view, etc., giving you a lot of the advantages of other social media scheduling tools, but directly in Notion. I'd love to get some feedback on this? What you liked, didn't like, what worked, what didn't, etc.?

@pr4w Kudos to the team for a fantastic launch! Wishing yo all the best in your journey. How has the communityresponse been so far?

@kjosephabraham So far it seems like ProductHunt is riddled with ChatGPT-powered bots, but aside from that, great. :)

Hey Mark, I'm curious about how it handles media uploads. Does it support scheduling video content for platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels? Have you considered adding analytics features to track post performance right in Notion? Congrats on the launch!
Mark Hadj Hamou
@kyrylosilin Hi! Essentially it creates a Notion database for you, and each entry in that database is a social media post you're scheduling. In that post you can attach whatever media you'd like to upload. This included photo and video for most platforms, but also other document types for LinkedIn for example. That way you can post IG Reels, stories, TikToks, etc., directly from within Notion, no problem. Analytics are next on my to-do list, yes!

Hey Mark, Congrats on the launch! I like how you differentiate mainly on the number of social media accounts, while posts are unlimited except for the free plan. I'm curious what the use case is for the multiple Notion databases included in your plans? Why would anyone need 2 or 5 Notion databases? @tenebricosa let's give it a try
Mark Hadj Hamou
@tenebricosa @janeph Thanks! The use case for multiple Notion databases would be people who handle lots of social media accounts and have different teams working on different accounts. One way of keeping things clean would be to spread the accounts to different databases so each team can handle their own database for example. Does that make sense? :) Let me know how things go and if you have any issues, I'd be happy to help!

@pr4w got it, thanks! It does make sense for larger teams. Good luck with the launch!

Congrats on the launch! I really enjoy scheduling my daily routine on a calendar, which allows me to visualize my achievements of the month. I've been using Notion for 4 years, and I believe that this Scheduler would be a game-changer in note-taking products. Good luck! I look forward to the future updates!

Congrats to the NotionScheduler team on the launch 🎉! This is a fantastic way to streamline social media management within Notion. Does it support analytics or post-performance tracking as well?
Mark Hadj Hamou
@vietpham Soon it will!

Hey @pr4w. Liked the concept and ease of use. Anything that keeps me from going to social media. But, how does this handle the varying guidelines across different social media platforms? For example: - Does it account for character limits specific to each platform? - How does it manage media previews, and are there any options to see a preview with the correct dimensions before posting? - For platforms with different tiers (like Twitter/X Pro vs. standard users), does the app automatically detect my account type and adjust accordingly?
Mark Hadj Hamou
@tinypixel_ Hi, thanks! Each social media platform has documented guidelines that I used when implementing them within NotionScheduler. So everything works accordingly, no problem there. :)

Hyped to give this a test run! Here are my thoughts… 🔥 The Great: - This is a utility I think tons of people are going to use, integrates an incredibly robust planning tool with the ability to execute posts directly - couldn’t have asked for better 🤔 The Good: - Given it looks like I’m going to have to both auth into my socials and my Notion, I think the website is lacking in a few areas concerning process and transparency asking anyone to auth into socials is a big ask - I think a produced demo video of some sort and a “🔒Your information remains private to you” type disclaimer would go a long way. ⭐️ Overall: - Excited to give this a try

So wait - are you saying, I can post to Facebook or Twitter without having to open either of them ??
Mark Hadj Hamou
@kaushik_mukherjee1 Pretty much :)

@pr4w ok then this is what I need :)
