Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built NotchClean because I wanted Windows utilities to feel less like utilities. Most system tools still make you open a traditional app window, find the feature you need, run it, and close it again. I started experimenting with a different idea: What if the unused space at the top of the Windows screen became a tiny control center? That became NotchClean. It sits at the top of the desktop as a small Dynamic Island-style notch and expands when you need it. Today it includes: 🧹 System & browser-cache cleaning 📊 CPU/RAM/system monitoring 📁 Drag-and-drop File Shelf 📋 Searchable clipboard history 🎵 Windows media controls ⚡ RAM memory tools Under the hood it’s built with Tauri + Rust + React/TypeScript, and I’ve tried to keep it intentionally lightweight and local. A few decisions I care about: • no registry-cleaner feature • no cloud account required for core functionality • allowlist-based cleanup • lightweight architecture • one-time lifetime license For launch, the first 50 customers can get a lifetime license for $9.99. After that, the regular price is $14.99 lifetime. The question I’m most interested in: Would you keep a control surface like this permanently at the top of your Windows desktop? And which feature would earn that space for you: File Shelf, clipboard, media, system monitoring or something else? I’ll be here throughout the day and would really value feedback on the interaction design. Mohammad Jafar Maker of NotchClean
