Nomicho - The drinking companion that's curious, not judgmental

by
Most drink trackers are built to help you quit. Nomicho isn't. It's for people who enjoy drinking and just want to understand it, without shame, streaks, or a single lecture. Log a drink in two taps and Nomicho predicts your blood-alcohol in real time, how you're likely to feel, and tomorrow's hangover. Sessions fill your calendar so you can look back. Curated insights into your patterns build over time. Playful, not clinical. Local-first and private, no account needed.

I'm Chris, the solo maker behind Nomicho (飲み帳, "drinking notebook"). I built it from Japan and for Japan, where nearly every drinking-related app is framed around reducing or quitting. Useful for some people, but there was nothing for the more common case: you enjoy drinking, you're an adult about it, and you're just curious. How much did I actually have? Why was that day rough? What do three highballs really do to me? Nomicho is three things in one app: - Track — log what you drank, as well as many other optional things to track - Predict — a real-time blood-alcohol estimate, a read on how you're likely to feel, and a hangover forecast, from a body profile you set - Reflect — calendar, stats, journal, and an AI recap that notices the shape of a night without ever telling you what to do next It never shames you, never says "maybe skip this one," and has no streaks or badges around drinking less. Everything is local-first and solo — your data stays yours, and login is optional. It's iOS, available in Japan and the US, with global region availability in the next update.
