@alexanderfarr one thing that we've noticed is that remote teams working in different time zones have specific knowledge that is sometimes locked up within individual talent or documented somewhere that is not intuitive. Let's say you work in New York and several of your colleagues work in Berlin. It is afternoon, and your colleagues are currently asleep while you are working. 
 However, you need an answer to a question or you need context on a past decision. You are hitting a roadblock and need answers now to move forward on what you are working on. Before Needle, you had the following options: 1. Wake up your colleague in the middle of the night and have a conversation. 2. Spend 1-4 hours searching through documentation on Slab, in Slack, in Google Drive, in Jira, etc. 3. Wait until tomorrow to ask your colleague, work on something else (perhaps lower in priority) in the meantime. Now, you have a fourth option: Ask Needle (which is connected to all of our company data) and get the answer fast. You save several hours of time, get the answers you need and your colleagues sleep soundly :) This is one of the ways we help remote / distributed teams.

The last days, I came across needle by chance and tried out this incredibly interesting website. I realized that I find it incredible what you can do with this website. I am convinced that with the right use of this software, you can save a lot of time when searching and sorting all kinds of objects and I am very excited about the future of needle.
