The demo works like a charm, not bad!
Looks amazing! Beautiful design and so intuitive. Will definitely be trying this out with the next apps I build.
Backend development involves a lot of setup; and Napkin abstracts all of that away. Serverless is the future. (Btw i love the product video: how did you do it?)
Guilty as charged! 😉 thank you so much for the kind words 🙏 and thanks Bro for the mention
YAAAAS NAPKIN
What tech stack is planned for the future? Like can I write my normal Laravel code? Or how about Swift Vapor?
We want to focus on making the best possible experience for each runtime, so we are adding them one at a time for now. We're working on adding Node.js support next. Will keep Laravel and Swift in mind though! Thanks for your question!
It looks great but I can't create a username and that is preventing me from actually doing anything.
Cool! Infra is such a PITA
Congrats on launch, & !
Thanks so much, Kevin!!
Pretty epic stuff and I love your philosophy page. Good luck!
Thanks Carlo! Really happy you like it
?makers does Napkin also provide a storage/database layer?
thanks for your answer! Also, do we have access to an underlying OS? What it for example we need to send a mail? Do we have access to the system's sendmail, or the way Napkin is conceived expects us to rely on some external transactional email service for those kind of operations? Thanks!
Access to underlying OS is very limited. The expectation is that you would use an external email service in this case. If email is a big need for you, feel free to reach out to - would love to chat more details about your potential use case!
