Multi Link Collector - Turn saved links into completed tasks, not forgotten tabs
byβ’
Instead of just storing a URL, MLC turns every saved link into a mini workflow. You set why you saved it (intent), track where it stands (status), add tags and notes, and actually move it from saved to done.
What's inside:
π― Intent system
π Status tracking
π·οΈ Tags & smart search
π Notes
πΎ Save All Tabs & Close
π Stats dashboard
β¬οΈ Export anywhere
Everything is stored locally in your own browser. No account. No login. No server. Your data belongs to you and stays on your device.

love how everything lives in your own browser with zero accounts, and the intent plus status system actually turns bookmark hoarding into something you can act on.
@sinanzwmteΒ hi Sinan.
Thank you so much! That means a lot. π My goal was exactly that - not just to save links, but to help people turn saved links into something they can actually act on, while keeping everything private and local.
Really appreciate you trying MLC and sharing your thoughts!
Thanks
how does the intent system actually work in practice, like is there a dropdown or do i have to type it out every time i save something
@nyerdelen18606Hi Nuran, it's a tap, not typing. When you expand any saved link you'll see intent chips laid out as buttons (Research, Work, Job Hunt, Personal, Inspiration).
Tap one to set it, tap again to remove it. You can also rename any of them to match your own need or add up to 5 custom intents.
One thing worth knowing: intent is set after saving, not during. The save itself is just one right-click - no forms, no interruption.
You come back and organize when you're ready. That was a deliberate choice to keep the saving moment frictionless
love that the intent field comes before the link itself in the save flow, makes you actually think about why you're bookmarking instead of just hoarding tabs.
@pakizeql4dΒ hi Pakize,
Really glad the intent system resonates, though worth clarifying one thing so you're not surprised: intent is actually set after saving, not before.
The save itself is just a single right-click, zero friction, no prompts.
The idea was to separate the capture moment from the organisation moment deliberately.
When you're browsing you just want to grab the link fast ,
you come back and set intent when you're ready to organise. Keeps the saving instant while still giving you the "why did I save this?" structure when it matters.
That said, your point is interesting - a few people have assumed intent comes first, which tells me there might be value in an optional intent prompt at save time in a future version.
Thanks
since everything lives in the browser, what happens if i clear my cache or switch to a new laptop, is that all just gone or is there some kind of local backup option
@sudenur251418Β hello Sudenur,
This is an important question and I want to answer it honestly.
MLC uses Chrome's local storage and not your browser cache (so clearing cache alone won't affect your links), but tied to your Chrome profile on that device.
If you uninstall the extension, wipe your Chrome profile, or move to a new laptop without migrating your profile, your data won't automatically follow.
The current backup option is manual export - you can download all your links as TXT, CSV, or Word any time from the Export button.
Before switching devices, exporting takes about 10 seconds and gives you a full copy.
Longer term, cross-device sync is something I'm aware is a genuine gap. I have plans to integrate it in version 3.
The tradeoff I made deliberately was local-first privacy over convenience - no server means nothing can be breached or tracked, but it also means no automatic sync.
Thanks
