Hi Product Hunt! Mosaic started from a simple frustration: small shop owners think in terms of stock, sales, suppliers, credit and tax, but ERP setup starts with module lists and hundreds of switches.

So Mosaic starts with a short interview in plain language. Do you keep stock? Do you buy from suppliers on credit? Which country and currency? The answers configure the working ERP, and the owner reviews the setup before it's applied.

What's new in v1.4.1:

- An answer-shaping chooser at the start of the interview. Standard is built in, selected by default, and keeps everything inside Mosaic.

- OpenAI, Claude (Anthropic) or DeepSeek, each with your own key from that provider. With a key option, your interview answers go to that provider to be mapped.

- Jev by TypeSafe (Preview) for owners who already have a TypeSafe key. TypeSafe sign-ups are currently closed.

- Every proposed setup change is shown with its reason and applied only after you confirm, and you can switch options any time from the Assistant screen.

- Windows installer, portable exe and a Mac build for Apple Silicon, all from the same release.

It's MIT-licensed and runs on your own machine. The installers aren't code-signed yet, so Windows and macOS will warn on first run; the release notes explain the one extra click.

Mosaic ERP v2.0 is out today. This update focuses on the records a shop already has and the close-of-day routine.

Photograph a supplier bill, credit-book page, paper ledger or stock register. Mosaic shows what it read for review before anything is recorded. At Close, count the drawer and compare it with sales, payments, credit and items that left the shelves, then share the day summary to WhatsApp. Voice entry is optional and needs a configured transcription provider. The default chat works without an AI key; compatible provider and local-server options are available in settings.

Windows x64, Apple Silicon Mac and Docker are available. The code is MIT-licensed. Installers are not code-signed yet, so expect an OS warning on first run. Photo reading needs a vision provider, and statutory output remains review-gated.
