Hey all,
MINDRIGHT is a simple app based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), designed to help you identify and overcome negative thoughts and limiting beliefs.
I made this app because I believe there are a ton of people who suffer from cognitive distortions, but are uncomfortable getting help. Many are unable to afford a therapist, some even feel shame. Others simply find the whimsical nature of many self help books and apps to be "uncool" and therefore won't engage with them.
The goal this app is to be provide a free and accessible entry point into mental health and wellness.
How it works:
When you're feeling stressed or having a rough time, you can open the app, quickly find the cognitive distortion that reflects your current mental state, and learn how to "challenge" the negative beliefs and overcome them.
You can also log "occurrences" so that you can gain insight into the cognitive distortions you struggle with most, and get better at recognizing and challenging them.
I'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback - thanks for checking it out!

Congrats on the launch!
It's pretty easy to scan through a few of these distortions and think of either recent or especially poignant examples that I've experienced.
I'm curious to know whether having been "primed" a bit by an app like this if I would have reacted differently or had different thoughts retrospectively.
Cool idea, and I think you're onto something with a "self-serve" style of mental health awareness.
