All sensitive data is encrypted locally on your device, before any sync or export.
Even if someone accesses the server, your data remains unreadable without your password.
This is a zero-knowledge architecture I, as the developer, have no access to your notes or keys.

There are also 10+ note card styles you can apply individually from the note editor allowing for visual distinction between different notes or categories.
As for your idea about mood-based theme profiles and task-specific card presets I love it. 🙌

Just head to the Settings screen at the top, you’ll see options to switch between Light, Dark, or System Default themes.

🧹 You can manually clear all cloud data from your account at any time.
🗂️ Within the app, you’re free to delete or manage all user data as you wish.
🔐 Sensitive notes can be stored in a Vault, protected by biometric authentication (e.g., fingerprint).
⚠️ Please remember: Since your Vault notes are end-to-end encrypted, we cannot recover your password. Make sure to save it securely.
📱 Notes stored locally on your device belong only to you no tracking, no remote access, no analytics.
Your privacy is not a feature it’s a principle.

🔐 Client-Side Encryption:
All sensitive notes are encrypted on your device using AES-256-CBC before any sync happens. That means I (the developer) cannot read or access your content, even if I wanted to.
🚫 No Analytics or Trackers:
There is no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no tracking SDKs in the app. Nothing is sent to third parties.
🧾 No Account Required for Offline Mode:
You can use Mindbook Pro completely offline without creating an account. No data is shared unless you explicitly choose to sync via Supabase (and even then, it's encrypted).
🗑️ Manual Data Deletion:
You can delete your synced cloud data anytime from the settings screen — no hidden backups, no recovery from my side.
📜 Transparent Privacy Policy:
Everything is outlined clearly at mindbookpro.shop/privacy. Nothing is hidden or vague.

Yes your notes are safely synced across all your Android devices, and you can also access them instantly from the web.

Right now, Mindbook Pro doesn't have a self-destruct or timed-delete feature, but you're absolutely right that this would be valuable for sensitive or ephemeral notes.
🛠️ I've added it to the roadmap as a potential "Timed Notes" feature where users can optionally set a countdown or expiry date for any note. After that, the note would either be auto-deleted or moved to a temporary trash bin, depending on user preferences.
