Right now, Mindbook Pro doesn't have a self-destruct or timed-delete feature, but you're absolutely right that this would be valuable for sensitive or ephemeral notes.
🛠️ I've added it to the roadmap as a potential "Timed Notes" feature where users can optionally set a countdown or expiry date for any note. After that, the note would either be auto-deleted or moved to a temporary trash bin, depending on user preferences.

Mindbook Pro is built on a strict privacy-first architecture. Here's how your data stays private:
🔐 Client-Side Encryption:
All sensitive notes are encrypted on your device using AES-256-CBC before any sync happens. That means I (the developer) cannot read or access your content, even if I wanted to.
🚫 No Analytics or Trackers:
There is no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no tracking SDKs in the app. Nothing is sent to third parties.
🧾 No Account Required for Offline Mode:
You can use Mindbook Pro completely offline without creating an account. No data is shared unless you explicitly choose to sync via Supabase (and even then, it's encrypted).
🗑️ Manual Data Deletion:
You can delete your synced cloud data anytime from the settings screen — no hidden backups, no recovery from my side.
📜 Transparent Privacy Policy:
Everything is outlined clearly at mindbookpro.shop/privacy. Nothing is hidden or vague.

This project has been a challenging yet deeply fulfilling 6-month journey and I’m still actively improving it every day.
📄 Encrypted data cannot be exported for security reasons, but I’m currently working on features like text, PDF, and Google Drive export so users will be able to selectively export their notes.
🔐 All data is stored with AES-256 encryption. Even in a worst-case scenario like a hack, your content remains unreadable and inaccessible to anyone including me.
🎯 My goal was to create something that feels simple and minimalist, but without sacrificing depth or functionality. I wanted elegance without emptiness so I focused on delivering powerful features inside a clean, quiet UI.
👤 Who am I?
I’m a 24-year-old solo developer from Türkiye, currently finishing my degree in an open university program. I built Mindbook Pro entirely on my own, with a almost $0 budget just a laptop, an idea, and persistence.
My ultimate goal is to create tools that don’t overwhelm you but stay with you.
