Why do most people quit journaling after a few days?

by

We’ve noticed something interesting while building MindBloom…

A lot of people start journaling with good intentions—but within a week, they stop.

From what we’ve seen, the biggest reasons are:

  • It feels like writing into a void

  • No clear value or feedback

  • Hard to stay consistent

That’s exactly why we built MindBloom differently—with AI insights, mood tracking, and voice journaling to make the experience more engaging and meaningful.

Curious to hear from you 👇

👉 What made you stop journaling (if you ever did)?
👉 And what would actually make you stick with it long-term?

Hard to stay consistent is the real killer. I'd love something that just asks me one question a day instead of expecting paragraphs of reflection. The blank page is intimidating.
