Mima: Government letters, explained - Upload a government letter. Understand what happens next.

by
Understand and respond to government letters — clearly, calmly, and without legal advice. Upload a letter from agencies like the SSA, IRS, courts, or local authorities. Mima explains what the letter means, what stage of the process you’re in, and what can (and can’t) happen next, in English or Spanish. If a response is needed, Mima helps you draft a clear document you can download and send. Used in Sweden and the US

What inspired me to build Mima Technologies was a simple but uncomfortable realization: some of the most important moments in people’s lives are hidden behind processes, cases, and letters that are incredibly hard to understand. Government notices, court decisions, and administrative processes are usually written for systems, not for people. When you don’t understand what’s happening, stress takes over. People make mistakes. Sometimes they give up, even when they shouldn’t. I wanted to build something that helps where it’s hardest. Not by giving legal advice. Not by predicting outcomes. But by making the process understandable, in your own language if needed. Mima is powered by AI to analyze and structure complex documents, so people can see what actually matters, what stage they’re in, and what can, and can’t, happen next. When things feel overwhelming, clarity creates calm. And calm creates better decisions. Mima doesn’t replace human judgment. It supports it. It helps people regain control by understanding their situation before taking the next step. That’s the core of Mima Technologies: helping people feel safer, more informed, and less alone when dealing with systems that weren’t built for them.
