MeSoul is a clean, distraction-free journaling app where you can ask questions about yourself and get answers from your own words. Turn journaling into real self-discovery.
I’ve been journaling for 15 years, and it’s the best way I know to organize my thoughts, get through tough times, and hold on to good memories. Lately, journaling apps feel overloaded with features that make even simple writing feel like work. Some even let AI do the writing for you. I don’t think AI is bad, it just has to be used wisely.
I’ve always found myself asking questions like what are my recurring thoughts, what triggers them, or even something random like what color my life would be. That’s where I think AI can really help by reflecting answers from my own words, not replacing them with its own.
I made MeSoul to bring journaling back to something simple, quiet, and meaningful. I hope it helps you capture your thoughts and discover yourself a little better.

This is very intriguing. A sort of mini-LLM where the only data is the journal itself. Giving it a try! The $30/year sub price is quite appealing, as well.
@dannyblastLove how you put that, it’s all about your words, not AI trying to play therapist.
Really glad you’re giving it a try. I’d love to hear what you think once you’ve used it a bit. You can always share feedback or ideas with me directly at delmadeworld@gmail.com
Thanks again!

Love this idea and its execution. I don’t love its price tag. That “try for free” and $4.99 a month completely contradicts the projects whole message and sentiment. “Simple, noiseless, deep self-learning… but it’s gonna cost you, pal.” Everything I see here, again I do like, someone else could replicate and have available open-source on Github in a few hours.
@octbr Hey Alex, really appreciate you sharing that! super helpful to hear your POV on pricing, and I’m glad you liked the overall approach.
MeSoul’s meant to stay clean, private, and ad-free. Running AI privately adds a bit of cost, but I’m still testing what feels fair (might add a lifetime option soon). And true, while some can build it, not everyone’s an engineer. MeSoul’s for anyone who wants a calm space to write and reflect.
Making something that feels simple actually takes a lot of thought and care. Thanks again for the thoughtful feedback!

There are many diary-like tools, but this one looks very comfortable and simple.
@m050970905 Really happy you felt that. Appreciate you taking a moment to share. It means a lot!

@del_made This is amazing. I use a notebook to do my journaling, but man, this is something else. I can't even believe it. I always try to ask questions about myself to GPT from the prompts I've given it, but as you know, it doesn't give good responses.
@taha_sani Yeah man, I totally get you. I’ve also been journaling in notebooks for years (still do when I feel like it). But being able to do it digitally and actually reflect, ask questions, and get answers based on your own words is really hits differently.
I’m glad you liked it! Totally down to chat and you can reach me at delmadeworld@gmail.com
@alvis_chu Thanks so much for your comment! Product Hunt comments sometimes appear with a delay, so apologies if this reply comes a bit late. There isn’t an import feature yet, but it’s on our list of upcoming improvements. For now, you can easily export your writings with just one click.

@del_made I will!

This brings the core value of writing back: know thyself. And self-discovery is a good feature with the help of agentic reflection.
How do you import the previous writing from other apps?
