Is it fair to call this Meku 2.0? New features, new UI, 4x faster builds and more✨

We haven't posted much lately. Most of that time went into rebuilding from the inside out.

This is not a UI refresh. We added new features, integrations, improved the core, and the new interface is just the part you see first.

We were here a while back, and a lot of what shipped in this release came straight out of that feedback threads.

Here is What's new on Meku

A clean, focused new interface

We cut the clutter and put the build surface front and center. Less hunting through panels, more time actually looking at what you're making.

that plans and builds instead of waiting on you to prompt every step

Describe the app once and it breaks the work into steps, writes the code, and checks its own output. You step in when you want to, not because it stalled.

Up to 4x faster build times
The core rewrite cut most of the waiting. First working version now lands in well under 30s for most projects.

Much improved design generation, including

First-prompt output looks like something you'd ship, not a wireframe. Paste a Figma frame and it comes back as real, responsive components.

Advanced backend features and (GitHub, Supabase, Figma, and more)

Auth, database, APIs, and edge functions connect directly from the builder. Real full-stack apps, not just a frontend that looks the part.

More import options, including GitHub and

Bring in work you started somewhere else and keep going. No rebuilding from scratch to switch.

Dedicated SEO settings for every site or app you build

Meta tags, Open Graph, sitemaps, and robots rules are editable per project. You don't have to prompt your way to a decent title tag anymore.

🔒 Performance, security, and stability improvements across the board
Faster page loads, tighter defaults on deployed projects, and a lot of quiet fixes that came out of the rewrite.

The 4x number is the one we're proudest of. Fast builds change how you work. You stop planning around wait times and just try things.

If you want to see what people are shipping with it, the is the honest version of demos. still has a decent free tier, and the are updated for the new build.

Is it fair to call this Meku 2.0? We argued about it. The core is rewritten, the pipeline is different, and half these features didn't exist few months ago, which doesn't feel like a point release. But 2.0 gets thrown around a lot, so we'd rather hear it from you. If you used the old version, does this feel like a new one?

Happy to answer anything about the rebuild, specially the parts we got wrong the first time 👇
