Medium Series - A new type of story on Medium

On paper seems interesting, I think there is more merit in the way it's presented and the ladies' voice being interesting enough to listen to for those 1 min 21 seconds than the offering itself which just seems like a Flipboards meets something else kind of product... It feels like Medium is trying to find the next thing that will keep them afloat/meaningful in people's mind... or is it just me? For myself, I fear the same thing as with Flipboard... in the first few weeks, used it a bunch which tapered to the point where I rarely opened the app and then eventually just deleted it...

Who next with stories/series? :)

I love the idea but the rollout (at least on Android) leaves much to be desired. Despite Medium pushing three updates yesterday, I still can't click any of the links in my Series and sharing with my friends is limited by the fact that I have no idea how many of them actually have the app. That being said, even if it is a riff on Snapchat/Instagram Stories, it's definitely a new way to tell a story and one that I will definitely be using.

It makes me think of @twitter in really long form.

Most of medium posts have scope for continuation and I can see how this fits the bill for that. Will explore this :)
