I built Main AI because I kept seeing the same thing happen. Someone gets handed a document — a lease, an offer letter, a severance agreement, a hospital bill — and they sign it because they don't have time, don't have a lawyer, and don't really know what they're agreeing to. Then something goes wrong. The landlord keeps the deposit. The non-compete blocks the next job. The medical bill is $4,000 more than it should be. And nobody told them they had rights. On the other side of every one of those documents is an institution with attorneys who wrote it. The lease your landlord gave you, their lawyer drafted that. The severance your employer handed you, their HR legal team spent months on it. You got 48 hours to sign something they spent months writing. I built Main AI to fix that gap. Not to replace lawyers, just to make sure that when someone gets handed a document, they actually know what's in it, what it means, and what they can do about it right now. It started as document analysis, then I added the letters because finding a problem means nothing if you don't know what to do with it, then negotiation tools because most people don't know they can push back, then deadline tracking because the most expensive mistakes are the ones you didn't see coming. I built it alone, every feature, every decision, because that meant I could build it entirely around whether it actually helps people. Nobody should lose money or rights because they couldn't afford an attorney or didn't understand what they signed. That's why Main AI exists.
