Where's the fun, Product Hunt? πŸͺ©

byβ€’

Spotify started the disco ball party last week. Notion, MoonPay, Uniswap joined. Even Lovable showed up late with a tool to discomorph any logo.Β

I feel like the weird lonely dude on the Product Hunt dance floor.

If you're launching soon, drop your disco ball logo in the comments πŸͺ©
Use:Β https://discomorphism.lovable.app

PS: I miss when PH logos were mostly animated. Still my fetish. I systematically check if a logo moves, and I almost always upvote when it does 🧑

@bengeekly There's definitely been a shift toward more uniform, polished launch pages , those small experimental touches like animations used to make PH feel more playful and distinct.

LinkedIn for me. Watching the stiffest blue square on the internet shake its hips would heal something in me.

Intabi would like to join the party as well :-). What do you guys think? Please do check out our launch page on PH at intabi AI. One more launch joining the PH launch party tonight. Watch out for ClickTags!

I honestly miss the playful side of launches too. Feels like a lot of product pages became optimized for conversion but lost some personality along the way. Animated or weird little branding touches make products feel memorable again, even before you understand what they do. Do you think PH is slowly moving back toward more creative launches, or is this just a temporary trend?

Haha, love this! You're definitely not alone on the dance floor. There’s something so nostalgic and eye-catching about animated logos on PHβ€”they just instantly grab attention. The disco ball trend is such a fun vibe to bring back the excitement. Thanks for sharing the Lovable link, going to experiment with it now!

Not gonna lie, I spent way too long playing with that Lovable tool trying to discomorph our logo πŸ˜‚ It looked ridiculous and I kind of loved it. There's something about the whole PH community just collectively deciding "we're doing disco balls now" that makes this place feel less like a tech platform and more like a weird group chat. Honestly needed that energy this week.
