Pre-launch update: free tier is live, paid coming soon, feedback wanted
Maker here 👋 MailGuard is in pre-launch: the free tier is live now (500 checks a month, no card) and paid plans go on in a few months. I'd love input from this community before then.
Quick recap of what it does in one call: syntax + MX checks, disposable and role-account detection, a "did you mean gmail.com?" typo suggestion, and a 0-100 deliverability score. It runs on Cloudflare Workers with no database, which is what keeps it fast and cheap.
You can try it with no signup via the free email checker.
Three things I'd genuinely value your take on:
Accuracy and scoring: throw odd addresses at it and tell me what it gets wrong.
The no-SMTP-probing trade-off: right call for validating signups, or a dealbreaker for you?
Pricing: a free tier plus cheap paid plans, does that match how you'd actually buy this?
Happy to answer anything about the API or the stack behind it. Thanks for taking a look.
