Hey Product Hunt 👋 Lume actually started with my dad. A few years ago, Jon Edwards decided to build a natural swimming pool in our family garden in Gloucestershire. What was supposed to be a landscaping project turned into a full obsession. He spent two years researching biological filtration systems, sourcing over 1,500 aquatic plants, documenting the process online, and building one of the most beautiful natural pools I’ve seen. Watching the response online was what sparked the idea for Lume. So many people loved the idea of natural swimming pools, but struggled to answer basic questions: * Would this even work in my garden? * What would it actually look like? * How expensive is it? * Where do I even start? That became the inspiration for building Lume. The goal was to make the process feel more accessible and modern by combining: * AI-powered visualisation * natural pool inspiration and education * bespoke design support * a vetted builder network You can upload a photo of your garden and instantly visualise what a natural swimming pool could look like in your own space. Still very early, but it’s been a really fun project combining AI, design, landscaping, and outdoor living. Would love feedback on: * the visualisation experience * the onboarding flow * landing page clarity * anything you’d want added Happy to answer questions throughout the day 🌿

@jackcedwards Congrats on the launch Jack. I love the story behind this, as an aside, do you actually get to use the pool? How many hours of sunshine/year make it worthwhile?

@zolani_matebese We use it all year round. Summer is obviously best, but it's surprisingly useful in winter if you're a fan of cold-water swimming or ice baths.
