I had been on the waitlist and now I've had a chance to try it out. WOW. After 10 days of using a pair programmer GPT on OpenAI with Pro and then trying out Claude Pro (ran into my limit) I think GPTengineer is actually better than either. I may actually complete my MVP with this.

Congrats on the launch! What are your plans for future integrations with popular front-end frameworks? I'm excited to see how this evolves in the future. How long did it take to develope this?

Let me answer them for you. 1) For the future plans - we are actively listening to user and engaging with them to understand what are their problems and what kind of stacks they'd like us to support. We decided to go with an opinionated tech stack to offer the best possible performances, but we are open to expanding it. In fact, if you want us to support a custom stack, feel free to let us know here: https://antonosika.typeform.com/... 2) How long it took us to build this—that's another great question. We have our roots in the open-source project that was mostly worked on in the second half of last (2023) year, and then somewhere after that, we started working on this. I'd say it took us roughly 8-10 months, with different approaches and versions in the meantime. And we still have a long way to go :)

@lemuel_albotra1 That's a very thoughtful question - we received a lot of feedback and spent hundreds of hours on user calls, interviews, and onboarding sessions. Some of the more impactful moments were getting more clarity on how users interact with the system, pace and amount of changes, perceived stability, and better understanding of our ICP and target user and their painpoints. Then there was a sleeve of technical and LLM/AI-based insights - from different models, benchmarking to prompting changes and strategies
