I had early access and used it to build the frontend for my app. It’s really impressive, the preview feature and github integration made it even more interesting. Good job
That's very cool to hear. Is there any other feature that would be useful to you?
Been following the project and so excited about this launch! We'd love to test and review GPTEngineer as a core teammate in building our platform for smarter talent management that cares about people. We are starting development shortly so hope to get beta access ASAP :)
I love the phrase "core teammate" - that's pretty awesome. If you want to try it out, you can go ahead and sign up for our waitlist: - we'll be onboarding people soon. I'd like to invite you to come and join our Discord community, too -
Actually, I realized I was already in the beta! But upgraded to evaluate the Pro features :) And I joined the Discord, thanks!
That's nice to hear. Feel free to connect there or reach out whenever you need something!
Really interesting. Do you enable deploying in any cloud provider that we already use? I have worked with AI agents to deploy applications directly to cloud, but found them pretty dumb to be able to do that generically. Looking forward if this can solve that problem
That's an area where we need to improve. You can take the app you built with you and deploy it on your own where you want, but we were looking into a more tighter integration with some possible providers. Is there someone specific you'd like us to support? Or are you just looking for a completely generic approach?
I was working on a general use case to launch a full stack web application with a managed postgres into Azure Cloud. I have tried deploying it using Azure webapp functionality. I have felt the bots lacked a general knowledge of OS specifics and DevOps intricacies and went on looping for simple problems like being in the wrong directory when they are trying to do something. Configuring the environment and making code changes based on the creds, running migrations in the application has become a really hard task to handle it automatically with the bot
So cool! congrats on your launch Gptengineer Teams! can't wait to try this app soon. :-)
Thanks for your nice words. If you want to try it out, you can go ahead and sign up for our waitlist: I'd like to invite you to come and join our Discord community, too
