What should a real personal AI agent actually do for you?
Most AI tools are still built around the same loop:
You ask → AI answers → you do the work.
With LocalDesk, we’re trying to change that.
Our idea is that a personal AI agent should be able to understand what you want, turn it into a mission, work across a real workspace, use the right tools and models, verify the result, and stay beside you until the work is actually finished.
That’s why we built LocalDesk around three layers:
Baymax — the personal interface you talk to.
Mission — turns intent into plans, actions, execution and verification.
Orbit — the workspace where the actual work happens.
We’re also developing our own models, Forge and Atlas, while currently using frontier models from OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI and others across the system.
I’m curious:
If you had a truly personal AI agent beside you every day, what is the first thing you would want it to completely handle for you?
Would love to hear how builders, founders and early AI users think about this.
