I built LinkLane after getting frustrated with a recurring problem: link tools that show you click counts but can't tell you if those clicks were real humans, whether your UTM parameters survived the redirect chain, or whether your A/B test variant labels are actually accurate. Most teams I talked to had quietly built workarounds — waiting 24 hours before trusting email click numbers, maintaining shadow spreadsheets alongside their link tool, cross-referencing GA4 to figure out what actually happened. That's not a workflow problem. That's a product gap. LinkLane is built around one idea: the data to answer these questions already exists at redirect time. Click velocity, user agent fingerprints, UTM chain integrity, variant assignment — all of it is knowable in the moment. Most tools just don't surface it. So I built the tool I wanted to use: smart routing (A/B, geo, device), real-time analytics that separates human clicks from scanner noise, UTM tracking that follows the full redirect chain, custom domains, team collaboration, and webhooks for everything. Happy to answer questions about any of it — what we built, why we made certain tradeoffs, or what's coming next.
