Something else to note about this redesign is they seemed to strategically "design out" some pretty key features. From what I can tell, Premium Search Filters does NOT come out of the box anymore and you can no longer PDF a profile. You also can't view your message history with a 1st degree contact on the profile, which I particularly miss already.

Microsoft did that ? I'm quite impressed! Nice redesign. Not rolled out to me yet, but looks nice in the video.
Finally, any improvement to LinkedIn's UX is much welcome, especially a massive one!

Seems smoother, the previous version of Linkedin are a little bit confusing, too manny hidden options, i like the real-time chat, can help with the interaction with my connections, i understand @rrhoover point, but we had always the chance to disable :) when can we start using it ?

Finally !! Linkidin is great but its platform is not intuitive. I still have the old format. ¿How or when is it going to change?

The last year has been a constant dumbing down of LinkedIn. The search functionality has been horribly broken (and they've never responded to a single email I've sent pointing out what's not working), and it's also becoming a haven for spammers and scam artists. I definitely have no need for a chat feature.

Looks great! Everything I use is now easily available. Never new Linkedin had a job board despite using LinkedIn multiple times a month, so this helps a lot!

this is the only platform where people can think or discussion about their aim and career! corporate world maximum involved with these social platform ...it need to be well organized.
Looks a lot slicker! Agree with @rrhoover but the more intuitive design (more akin to social networks) will make a difference. I for one will definitely benefit from LinkedIn Chat. The old messaging mode on LinkedIn was a bit clunky
