Cool! Do you have a search tool to filter job seekers by topics?
Sayp Sheykhanov
@ipavlenko We don’t have this feature at the moment but will definitely add it to the development list. Thanks for suggestion

Hey ProductHunt Community! 👋 We created LaborX to help freelancers connect with work opportunities, wherever they are based in the world, and enables them to get paid in crypto.👨🏻‍💻🌏👩🏼‍💻 🤝 The platform makes it easy for anyone to sign up, browse opportunities and organise work. Digital work agreements powered by Ethereum’s smart contracts set out milestones for each job, with payments escrowed before the job is started and paid automatically as each task is completed. All payments are made in crypto, so you don’t need to worry about bank or payment processor fees. ⭐️ To keep users safe, LaborX has a reputation system to show which freelancers and clients have been most trustworthy and reliable in the past. And if things do go wrong, a dispute resolution service is available to make sure any problems are dealt with fairly and transparently. We’d love to hear from you! Curious to know how the Smart Contract knows about the task/job completion in a trustless manner? Also, what happens in the case where a freelancer and a job provider have a dispute regarding the quality or completion of a task?
Sayp Sheykhanov
@gaurangt1 Upon the job/task completion, freelancer sends it to review by signing smart contact, if customer is happy with the job, he accepts it by signing the smart contact as well. Then smart contact releases the payment. If the customer and the freelancer cannot agree on any issue, they can use the dispute service. The parties pre-select an arbitrator before starting work. After the dispute is initiated, the arbitrator issues a verdict and his signature with the verdict is sent to the smart contract. I hope that answers your question.

What's the main motivation to get paid in crypto, @sayp?
Sayp Sheykhanov
@rrhoover Great question! The main advantages when paying in crypto: - Low transfer fees; - Fast payment anywhere in the world; - Cryptocurrency enables the use of a fully automated and decentralized escrow, which is controlled by a smart contract; - Security. Let me know if you have any other questions!

The idea of payment in the project is really good, because payment in the crypt removes intermediaries and allows you to keep low system fees. The site interface is nice and convenient. I would also like to be able to pay in cryptocurrency, but without smart contracts

thank you for the feedback!

Good job, guys! I like the design. The idea with signing a smart-contract by a freelancer first - really makes sense.

Interesting idea. Any regulatory hurdles around this?
Sayp Sheykhanov
@salil_sethi Our activities are not against the law. Thanks for the question!
Salil Sethi
@sayp Of course not. I didn't mean to imply that with the word "regulatory". Different countries have different posture towards crypto currency. Here is a reference from the Library of Congress - https://www.loc.gov/law/help/cry... Example from the link above: The government of India stated in early 2018 that cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin are not legal tender in India.[594] While the government has not yet enacted a regulatory framework for cryptocurrencies,[595] the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has advised caution on their use and has issued three notifications[596] that “cautioned users, holders and traders on the risk of these currencies and clarified that it has not given any licence or authorisation to any entity or company to operate such schemes or deals.” This is what I was referencing to. Do you have any thinking around this?
Alexandra Kugusheva
@sayp @salil_sethi Thanks for your question! It is our understanding that there are no regulatory barriers to our activities at least within Australia. We understand that the legal framework around crypcurrencies are evolving and sometimes vague, but we are optimistic about the technology's future and we've built laborX for others who share our view. We also know that cryptocurrencies are not generally accepted as legal tender in many countries, but we do think that they are valuable, and most people in our company itself are paid their salaries in cryptocurrency. We are, however, keeping an eye on regulations and will naturally review our operations to ensure that they are compliant with the law and cooperate with regulators if they reach out to us. We hope this answers your question?
Alexandra Kugusheva
