Greetings from the kiwilaunch team! We built kiwi to enable service providers and solopreneurs around the world to digitize and get started with online bookings in the simplest way. The existing options for coaches, cleaning services, salons/spas, or language schools didn't seem viable to us. Hence, we built Kiwi. We have conducted various A/B tests to optimize the service booking and purchasing experience. It is not a simple meeting/appointment scheduler. What e-commerce platforms like Shopify or WooCommerce do for product sales has not been done for service sales, and we are here to address this need. We have already empowered hundreds of micro-businesses and solopreneurs on their journey to digitization 🚀 With kiwi, you can: - Get online bookings in just a few minutes. - Manage your customer lifecycle (packages, recharges, recurring appointments). - Customize your domain, branding, and policies to fully reflect your brand experience. - Connect your Stripe account (PayPal integration in progress) to receive online payments. kiwi is available globally, allowing you to receive online bookings and payments. We have received a great reaction from our users worldwide so far, and we wanted to engage with the hunters (and gatherers) of the Product Hunt community. Looking forward to your warm welcome!

Hello Product Hunt community👋, I'm Omer, one of the co-founders and also the CTO of kiwilaunch. For the past 2 years, we have been consistently developing and growing kiwi, while adding new features. Considering its current stage, we have a highly scalable and sophisticated architecture. We are happy to be at Product Hunt and we appreciate every interaction!"

Congrats on the launch Team Kiwilaunch! I love the space that you're in. Everywhere you look there are businesses and industries who need to move from paper based bookings to digital. Do you see much difference between the difference industries, in terms of custom needs and features?
Orkun Gedik
@jgani Hi Jonni, Thanks for your support! It is an excellent question. We do see some major differences in terms of service types. We addressed it with service configurations like “schedule types” or “service types”. While creating the services, you answer a few questions about the nature of the service, and we build the optimum booking experience for that service. We have “custom options” to create service variants that bring a lot of versatility.

Of course, it is still Day 1, and we have some way to go in terms of features. In case you decide to try it out, I would be happy to showcase over a short session how it serves different industries’ needs. Cheers,

Crisp and to-the-point-ui! Congrats on the launch! UX-question: From a customer point-of-view, the feature "find next available time" or automatically seeing them first is crucial. I didn't understand if this is something you already have from the video.

@sabina_sonning Thanks Sabina for your support! It is a great question and we had this debate. The winning argument was if we start the date and time selector with "Today", it would achieve maximum intuitiveness. But your comment definitely made me want to re-assess.
Sabina Sonning
@orkungedik It of course depends on many things (and you're right that Today is where I expect to end up in a happy path). Whatever you find in your use cases, there many ways to deal with it (CTA visible when today has no empty slots or similar). But the fact that you're exploring and listening is the best sign you are creating a great tool.

@sabina_sonning Thanks for acknowledging the effort and thanks for the interactions. Most PH comments are just "pass by" by nature, and this is exactly the kind of interaction we are looking forward to having. Hope to continue that in longer term.

Amazing launch! The product looks seamless. Will give it a try. Congrats, a quick question: which industry has been on the rise? What is the biggest challenge you are helping them solve?
Orkun Gedik
@kerem_kuyucu1 Thanks for your support and great questions, Kerem! 💚 We've noticed a growing number of solopreneurs starting side jobs (e.g. engineering executives launching dog-walking clubs). Perhaps with us, it has become so easy, or maybe it's a trend driven by the gig economy, or possibly both. The biggest challenge overall is that non-digitized companies view payment gateway (such as Stripe) fees as part of our costs. They haven't yet realized the amazing advantages of online payments, such as improved retention and reduced no-shows; instead, they see these fees as a burden from day one. It takes some time to beat this perception, but it's an anticipated challenge. 💪

Absolutely a beautiful app and extremely quick to set up and easy to use! It has MANY features of the more expensive calendars such as Calendly and Acuity Scheduling, yet without a huge learning curve and price tag. Love Kiwilaunch and love the excellent support. When I found Kiwilaunch, I felt like I had looked for an app like this forever! I tried so many apps, and wish they had been on the scene years ago.

@robyn_starr Thank you Robyn for the very generous review! Hoping to continue to help you grow your community for many years to come. Cheers!
