What’s the hardest part of building a product that nobody talks about enough?

We often talk about launches, growth, user numbers and milestones. From the outside, building a product can look like a pretty straightforward path: come up with an idea, build it, and launch it.
But once you’re actually doing it, a lot of unexpected challenges start to appear. Deciding which features to prioritize, figuring out which user feedback matters, staying motivated or simply building something people genuinely want to keep using are just a few of them.
What turned out to be much harder than you expected when building your product?
I’d love to hear what other makers have struggled with most and what they learned along the way.
