Hey Makers and Hunters, Ashita here. I built Journee because I needed a way to stop spiraling in anxiety at 3AM without doomscrolling to numb the pain.

I have anxiety so when I'm stuck with racing thoughts, the last thing I want to do is actually write out paragraphs.
There's an odd magic in naming things, speaking them out loud.

For instance, I focus not only on venting but also list out how I want to feel instead or I'll list out solutions. Voice journaling has been fantastic in helping me stay in that stream of consciousness while i'm fighting the demons of overthinking that want to pull me back in.

As someone who is the designated strong friend, I also tend to not want to dump all my worries on my friends. And at 3 AM, that's impractical. So I built an insights feature that looks at my entries and gives me empathetic feedback that makes me feel so validated.

I’d love your feedback on:
The AI insights: do they feel clear and kind?
Weekly Wrapped Recaps: would a weekly story keep you journaling?
What would make you record every day?
What else would you like to see on here?

Paid app, but Product Hunters get the year for $19.99—dismiss the first paywall to see the offer. No code needed.
Try it out and DM me the weirdest insight you get.

Happy to answer any questions and share what I learned while shipping an AI voice journal solo.

p.s. I ship every day and post my journey every day on Tiktok @ashitabuilds

@ashitabuilds  @ashitaa Congratulations Ashita, this is such a great idea. It's not just about recording your thoughts, it listens and gives you meaningful insights. Kind of like having a mini therapist in my pocket.

Rishi Patel

Wow! This looks like a great product! Could you help me with the use cases of this product?

ashita achuthan

@rishi_patel11 thanks Rishi.
Some use cases that people use it for are to manage their anxiety, keep a relationship / breakup diary, and for those folks who can't get into writing a traditional diary, a voice journal helps them talk it out and stay consistent.

SUCH A GOOD APP!!!!

im intrigued about weekly stories, but i'd love to get prompted themes about what to talk about. my problem with sticking to journaling is that i feel like a writers road block, and sometimes audio wise, the same sort of issue.

ashita achuthan

@sprintfolio Hey Rebecca - such good feedback. We actually have a bunch of themes / prompts that you can use when you get stuck. I totally get the dread of the blank canvas (blank mic?). But yeah, what you said is pretty spot on.
