First of all, proud to see JotForm's growth and transformation from a simple form creation website to a big software company in such a short amount of time! Just tried a few of the templates on JotForm Tables after I've seen its launch here. In terms of UI and UX, I can definitely say it feels much better than Airtable. Plus, it has no limitations. Free! Great job !

When ever I tried Airtables I kind of got lost and couldn't get into it. It's good to see a new product in this field. I'll definitely try this!

I get the appeal of using a single toolset for the job. But does this work without forms? I mean, can I use it without Jotform? I don’t rely on forms to collect data but the sheets look enticing and would love to test it out for a couple of small projects.

Hi Henry, yes you can use JotForm Tables without using forms. You can add data manually or import your current data. Looking forward to hearing your experience on JotForm Tables :)

Awesome update. I'm so excited to use this. A question - is there any way I can automation sending data to Jotform tables using any kind of script or API?
I am looking at the newly advertised Jotform Tables. It keeps mentioning that it is more than a spreadsheet and more than a Database. But I would like to get understanding of this new feature. Does it really act like a Database i.e. with relational database? 1. Do we have to design a Form first before a Jotform Table is created Or can I start with a Jotform Table(s) first and then design the forms later, selecting only necessary fields from the table? 2. Can we define relationships between multiple tables (like DB keys) etc. ? 3. Will the form(s) be able to read the existing data from Jotform tables, which can be used in the Forms and write back to the table after manipulation? In other words is that a two-way traffic OR only on-way traffic?

Hi Samskrita, thanks for the comment and questions. 1. Do we have to design a Form first before a Jotform Table is created Or can I start with a Jotform Table(s) first and then design the forms later, selecting only necessary fields from the table? You do not! It's a powerful feature being able to sync your forms to a new table, but you're also free to create and edit a table without a form.  2. Can we define relationships between multiple tables (like DB keys) etc. ? There are a number of ways to connect different tables, including rollups and lookups in new columns using information from separate tables.  3. Will the form(s) be able to read the existing data from Jotform tables, which can be used in the Forms and write back to the table after manipulation? In other words is that a two-way traffic OR only on-way traffic? Right now it’s set up for one-way, so you can manage data in your table without worrying about altering your original form. But we’ll mention the two-way suggestion to our product team.
