Tradies: which feature did your job management software put behind a higher plan?
G'day all,
JobDone is job management software for Australian trade businesses. Before we built it, we kept hearing the same complaint: someone signs up for a job management app, gets comfortable with it, and then finds the feature they need is only on the next plan up. Often that's enquiries, automations, the mobile app or proper job records.
So we made a different call. Every paid JobDone plan includes the whole system on desktop and mobile:
enquiries and quoting
scheduling and field records
variations and automations
invoicing and payments
The only extras that cost more are the ones with real running costs: SMS, AI assistance and Compliance packs. The Free plan has a similar workflow with a monthly job limit.
I'd love to hear from people who run a trade business or work in one:
Which feature have you had to upgrade to get, and was it worth the money?
Where does information get lost between the quote, the office and the crew on site?
What would make you switch from the system you use now?
Honest answers are welcome, including "I'm happy with what I've got." They help us decide what to improve next.
Other titles, if you'd like a different angle:
What's the worst part of moving a job from quote to on site?
Should job management software charge more for core features?
