We Pivoted from DNS to “Zero-to-Hero Infrastructure” — and It Unlocked Growth
We started by building a high-performance DNS platform (Javelina DNS).
The tech worked.
The performance was there.
But adoption was slower than expected.
What we realized
Most of the companies we talked to weren’t ready for better DNS.
They had:
Messy domain setups
Broken or outdated DNS records
No centralized hosting
Fragmented email systems
No real IT foundation
So even if they wanted our product…
they couldn’t use it easily.
The pivot
Instead of waiting for “ready” customers, we changed the model.
We expanded from a single product into a Zero-to-Hero infrastructure platform.
Now we handle:
Domain registration
DNS (Javelina)
Website setup
Email systems
Hosting
MSP support
AI business tools
What changed
Sales cycles got shorter
Customers stopped hesitating
Adoption increased immediately
Deal sizes grew (we capture more of the tech stack)
Key insight
We weren’t solving the first problem — we were solving the fifth.
Once we solved the earlier steps, everything clicked.
Where we are now
~10 businesses onboarding into our ecosystem
Re-engaging a mid-six-figure client
Turning this into a repeatable platform
Curious if others building in SaaS / infra have hit this:
👉 Have you had to expand your product scope just to unlock adoption?
