👋 PH — I'm Christian, I built CartLens and recently launched it

Hey everyone,

I'm Christian, a full-stack developer who's been building at the intersection of AI and real-world problem solving for the past decade — blockchain apps, civic tech, document intelligence tools, and now @CartLens .

CartLens started from a simple frustration: I kept suspecting I was overpaying at certain stores, but had no way to prove it. Receipts pile up in a drawer and tell you nothing useful.

So I built the thing I wanted: snap a receipt, AI extracts every item and price, cross-references against a crowdsourced price index built from real shoppers' receipts, and shows you exactly where you overpaid and what the better price was. The crowdsourced price index is empty at the moment because I just launched, but being able to archive all my trips across multiple stores and being able to compare common items has been eye-opening for me and a reason for me to keep building

A few months of nights and weekends. Launched yesterday, May 4th, 2026.
