New to Product Hunt, looking for launch advice!

Hi everyone! I’m new to Product Hunt and would love some advice from people who have launched here before.

I’m preparing to launch Datasparks, a business intelligence and data analysis platform focused on helping teams organize, manage, analyze, and visualize time-series data. The product itself is live and I feel like we’re at a point where it’s ready for Product Hunt, but I’m less sure about how to prepare for the actual launch.

A few things I’d especially love advice on:

• How long should I be active in the Product Hunt community before launching?

• How much should I be engaging with other launches and discussions beforehand?

• What did you do before your first launch that you think actually made a difference?

Any advice from other B2B, business intelligence, analytics, or data-tool founders would be especially appreciated! I'd really like to fully utilize the benefits of Product Hunt, introduce Datasparks to the right people, and get useful feedback from the community.
